Three Days of Silence, Vinyasa, Guidance Meditation, Nature, Chanting & Healing
Thursday, May 21 (5 pm) – Sunday, May 24 (1 pm)
Light on the Hill Retreat Center
Van Etten, New York
Leaders: Jen Scott and Joe Iadanza
Reconnect with Nature and Yourself
Whether for rest and renewal, stress reduction, or simply to deepen your spiritual journey, let us help guide you on your search for answers. Yoga Instructor, Jen Scott, and Living Room Studio Director, Joe Iadanza, invite you to join us on this adventure in self-awareness and discovery.
Format
The retreat is structured to allow you to deepen your spiritual practice without the distractions you might face on a usual day. Three days and three nights is sufficient to allow time for settling in, deep participation, and potentially experiencing genuine insights.
Our time together is silent, except for the times where we are receiving yoga direction, chanting as a group, working one-on-one with the guides, or participating in any Q&A sessions that may be scheduled.
There will be time when we arrive on the first evening to settle in, share a meal and ask questions before diving into the retreat.
Daily Activities
During your time at Light on the Hill, you will enjoy two group sessions of yoga (am & pm) led by Jen Scott each day. You will also meet with Joe Iadanza privately and/or as a group for spiritual guidance and teachings. The guidance is meant to provide a suggested structure by which you might use your private time. The teachings are meant as a jumping-off point for your own process of self-reflection.
There will be ample private time for self-reflection, and you are invited to do it as you connect with nature – on the trails, in the woods, around the ponds, and through the labyrinths of Light on the Hill’s beautiful and powerful 236 acres.
In addition, we will enjoy structured evening activities that we do as a group. This may include meditation, chanting, drumming or Q&A sessions. These will be determined as we feel out what is right for the group each night.
Cost
The retreat fee is $500. A $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Full payment is due by April 10th. Click here to register.
