This is a time of a great energetic shift on the planet. Perhaps you are already feeling it. It has been foretold by many cultures and has a great astrological significance. We will be entering the middle of the Milky Way in a galactic synchronization in which many of the planets in our solar system will be lining up, along with the Earth and the Moon. Visible to the naked eye, this will be an amazing sight to behold. It is the end of the Mayan calendar, and the old way of being. We are stepping into a new higher consciousness and time to honor and love each other and the planet. It is a time of turning back to a more spiritual way of being.
The last time we had this galactic synchronization was in 24,000 BCE!
The Retreat
Beginning on Thursday evening, we will begin to gather and watch the sky and planets line up. We can journey to a drum beat and set our intentions for this New Age. At dawn on 12/21/12, Friday morning, we will join to bear witness to this momentous event.
Friday and Saturday night we will also take in the energy of the galactic synchronization, when the stars will line up for us to enjoy. The energy of this great shift will resonate for several days, so we will be literally “in the middle of it” for a while. These days will be alive with energy.
At any time, you can go off to experience it in on your own. This is not a time for busy workshop activities, but a communal gathering. It is a time of allowing. You are welcome to attend planned events and add to the mix something of your choosing. Perhaps you know some songs or a special dance or a chant? You may be guided to lead us in a meditation with visualization. See what calls to you, and bring what you need to make it happen. This is a time of retreat and reflection with a coming together for ceremonies and times of sharing.
Friday night, we will be doing a ceremony of deep releasing that which no longer serves us. We will make an offering bundle to be burned in the nearby outdoor fire pit the next night. Saturday night we will create another ceremony, in which we will call in what our wishes are for ourselves, our loved ones, and the planet. These are very powerful ceremonies. We will burn the offering bundles afterwards.
Bring warm clothes to allow you to enjoy any time spent outside.

Accommodations
This event will be held at the Meadow Cottage. It is important to book early, as some of our group may be staying at other nearby cottages as well. The cottages are all heated, and within a short walk from each other. Breakfast will be provided for those who stay over, and a delicious vegetarian lunch and dinner will be prepared by loving hands and brought to us.
